Mrs. Amaka Nzewi is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (1997) with over 20 years experience in the insurance industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern European Language from University of Lagos. She was the head of International Operations of Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation from 2009 – 2014, and afterwards, was in charge of Domestic Operations Group B for 4 years. 

She served as the Financial Secretary of Lagos State Chapter of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and was a member of Image Committee of Nigeria Insurers Association. She also served as a member of the Membership Committee of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

She is currently the Head of International Operations.
