Mrs. Monica Okafor holds a Master’s degree in financial Management (MBA) from Lagos State

University and a diploma certificate in Insurance obtained from West African Insurance Institute (WAII)

Kotu The Gambia and Ordinary National Diploma from Yaba College of Technology.

An associate of both Chartered Insurance Institute of London (ACII) and Nigeria (AIIN)

She has attended various professional courses and workshop in Nigeria and abroad.

Monica Okafor joined Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation in 1988 and has worked in different sections of the technical department and was Head Domestic Operations.

She is presently   Head of International Operations.

She is happily married.

She is the currently the chairman of offices Representative committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria

She served as Membership secretary and Social Secretary of Professional Insurance Ladies Association
